Arizona Rural Land For Sale

COUNTRY LIVING!

My family and I moved out of the city over 15 years ago.  I had seen a small ad saying simply:  COUNTRY LIVING.  Just on a whim, ghd norge, we decided to put our house on the market, and move out to a small rental house about the third of the size of our current house.  WOW!  What a change that was!
We wanted to try out the arrangement to see if it was bearable being that far outside of the city before we decided to buy anything.  It was about a half-an-hour outside of town.

It wasn't too long, we decided that it was pretty relaxing being outside of the city.  You could have your evenings sitting outside on the patio with no city noise or lights.  The skies are beautiful, and when you have a big yellow full moon coming up, there is nothing like it!

It wasn't too long, we were scouting around for property in the area.  It was pretty wide-open at the time.  Really not too many houses anywhere close to where we were living.  My son and I were talking about it at the time.  He said it would be 40 years before there was anything very close to us.  I remember saying something to the effect--Oh, it won't be that long. But little did I know, within about 2 years, there was building starting to happen all the way around us.  It was going crazy, in fact!  Subdivisions planned in just about every direction--complete with shopping malls!

We did buy our land, and got started developing a place to live.  We decided to go further out.  Not too far, but just a little further.  It has been quite a lot of work, I'll have to admit.  We started with no road back to our property, just a cattle path.  The land we bought was at the back of a section with no others living in it at all.  Twenty acres.  We made the road, fenced the property to keep the open range cattle out, and had to drill the well.  Which is another whole story in itself, since we're in Arizona, and you have to drill pretty deep!

We ended up renting that little bitty house for almost 3 1/2 years!  It didn't take too long to get our property ready to move onto, once we'd gotten started,Louis vuitton, but at the time building was going so strong in the Southern Arizona area, we were quite busy building all the other homes, instead of our own.  It has been some work, but one I'd do all over again, nike shox, because it has been so worth it to us to be living in a rural area.

Over the years, we started buying more parcels of land around us.  Land was selling like no tomorrow.  We were getting letters, sometimes 3 a day, by investors wanting to buy our land, from all parts of the country!  Of course, with the economy slow-down, it has gotten a lot more calm.  It is pretty much, back to being relaxing out here again.  The big subdivisions that were on the drawing board are on hold, or canceled--for now.

And of course, some of the land we were going to build on and sell, we've decided to just sell.   So even though, the feeding frenzy has died down on the land sales, land is still selling, and as they say:  "They aren't making any more of it."  So it is a buyers' market now,mbt shoes, and if you're considering getting into some rural property in Arizona with the really great winter weather, we have some beautiful property priced right!

One parcel is just south of Phoenix near the town of Maricopa, Arizona, with picturesque views of the Palo Verde Mountains.  It has Creosote Bushes instead of prickly cacti.  The other parcels are north of Tucson about a half-an-hour. And have lots of the majestic Saguaro Cacti, and Mesquite, Palo Verde and Ironwood Trees.   Both areas are easily accessible to I-10 for quick commute to the cities.

We like living out, and think you might, too.  We'll be glad to tell you what we've learned over the years, if you need any help developing your property.  We even have some pretty great models of homes drawn up, that haven't been built yet, if you're looking for house plans.

This is a great time to buy land in Arizona, the prices are right!
